This USB-C™ Multiport Adapter with DP 1.4 Alt Mode supports 4K 60Hz HDMI® (HDR) and turns your MacBook, Dell XPS, or other USB-C laptop or tablet into a workstation, anywhere you go. The USB Type-C™ Multiport Adapter features a 4K HDMI video output, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A (5Gbps) ports, SD and MicroSD card readers and a Gigabit Ethernet port, all through one connection to your laptop's USB-C, USB4, or Thunderbolt 3/4™ port. Plus, it offers advanced charging and flexibility through a shared USB-C Power Delivery 3.0 and Data port which can be used to connect peripherals, with USB 2.0 transfer speeds (480Mbps), when a power source is not connected. The Multiport Adapter features an extra-long attached 12-inch (30 cm) host cable - for an extended reach, to offer more set up flexibility.

This lightweight USB-C Adapter can operate with bus-power alone, or use the USB-C port to connect a USB-C power adapter (not included with Multiport Adapter) for laptop charging. Alternatively, use the USB-C port to connect additional peripherals at USB 2.0 speeds.

PD 3.0 features Fast Role Swap (FRS) to prevent USB data disruption when you switch power sources (USB-C power adapter to bus power).

The Gigabit Ethernet port ensures reliable wired network access, with support for PXE Boot and WoL.
