Plug and Play - Active Chipset
he HDMI adapter includes a built-in chipset to allow support for ACTIVE conversion. The ACTIVE cable will work with DisplayPort or DisplayPort outputs that are not capable of outputting DP++, such as a video card like AMD Eyefinity, it will also work with DP++ outputs.
