Recycled is the new chic
The ThinkPad T16 Gen 2 laptop features a number of sustainable components including post-consumer content recycled plastic in the enclosures for the speaker, battery, and AC adapter. Packaging is plastic-free with 90% recycled and/or sustainable content, and the manufacturing process uses low-temperature soldering. The Storm Grey models include certified recycled aluminum (50% top cover, 55% bottom cover). Both colours feature 90% magnesium on the C frame (surrounding keyboard).

Display options for everyone
If you’re like most people who spend lots of time on a PC your eyes can become tired and strained. The 16″ display on the ThinkPad T16 Gen 2 helps to prevent that by offering panels with Eyesafe® certification for low blue light. All screens feature narrower bezels and a high screen-to-body ratio, which translates to added screen real estate on this device.

The ThinkPad T16 Gen 2 laptop alleviates that concern with lightning-fast WiFi that keeps you online when wireless coverage is available—but if you’re out of range, you can still jump online just like a smartphone when you choose the WWAN* configuration. What’s more, with the option of two large battery sizes and rapid-charging technology, there’s little need to be tethered to an outlet. Engineered to handle the extremes
We use the US Department of Defense's MIL-STD 810H standards to create a balance of reliability and durability for our ThinkPad laptops. We test against 12 standards and more than 200 quality checks to ensure they run in extreme conditions.
