Intelligent 4K Surveillance with Advanced Audio Detection and Edge Security
This compact, varifocal dome camera offers great images in 8 MP. It comes preinstalled with AXIS Object Analytics, as well as AXIS Audio Analytics to detect and classify specific sounds as well as sudden changes in sound volume.
Great images, every time
AXIS M4228-LVE delivers great image quality in 4K. Featuring a varifocal lens with 100°-38° field of view and remote zoom and focus capabilities, it can be adapted for close-ups and overviews without the need for hands-on fine tuning. Thanks to Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR, it provides details even in challenging light conditions. Plus, OptimizedIR allows for surveillance in total darkness without the need for extra lighting. Furthermore, Axis Zipstream with support for H.264 and H.265 significantly reduces bandwidth and storage requirements without compromising image quality.
Powerful with strong security
Featuring a deep learning processing unit (DLPU), AXIS M4228-LVE lets you run advanced features and powerful analytics on the edge. For instance, it comes preinstalled with AXIS Object Analytics to detect, classify, track, and count objects such as humans and vehicles. It includes an acoustic sensor, so it’s out-of-the-box-ready for AXIS Audio Analytics, which can detect and classify specific sounds as well as sudden changes in sound volume. In addition, Axis Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity platform, safeguards the device and protects sensitive information from unauthorized access. And it offers FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified, secure cryptographic key storage and operations.
Small and discreet
This compact and discreet dome camera blends in with any environment. There’s also a smoked dome available as an accessory, so you can disguise which way the camera is pointing. This IP66- and IK10-rated camera has an operating temperature range from -30°C to 50°C (-22°F to 122°F). Plus, the included weathershield offers extra protection. -
