The Maevex 6152 quad decoder is a real-time H.264 video decoder capable of decoding up to four 4K live MPEG2-TS, RTSP, and SRT streams at low latency. When paired with Maevex 6100 Series encoders, Maevex 6152 can achieve exceptionally low latency at low network bitrate consumption. It also supports reliable, encrypted transmission over internet for the secure streaming of content. The complimentary Maevex SDK enables you to build new applications or integrate the functionalities of PowerStream Plus into existing applications. TAA compliant SKU available.

The Maevex 6152 decoder interoperates with virtually any device—third-party encoders, cameras, software encoders, or other Matrox products. This H.264 decoder integrates seamlessly into existing 1 GbE networks to send many superior-quality, low-latency AV streams—all without sacrificing quality. Decode up to four 4K live MPEG2-TS, RTSP, and SRT streams. Support for the Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) video transport protocol means that secure, low-latency, and high-performance streaming is also realized on noisy or unpredictable networks such as the public Internet. Whether you’re dealing with a stable LAN connection, a limited WAN pipeline, or an unpredictable Internet transport, Maevex has the right streaming protocol for the job.

PowerStream Plus software provides preset layouts for effortless setup of multi-screen configurations. Use the multiple Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and composite options to arrange your streams in a variety of layouts. With preset layouts, you can quickly set up single or multiple streams per display and arrange the content on your screen.

Setting up video and streams has never been easier—or faster. After selecting a layout for each of your four outputs, simply drag and drop the source into the appropriate placeholder. Finally, adjust your layout settings, and you’re done.
 
Flawless image quality
Decode 2x 4Kp60, 4x 4Kp30/60, 8x 1080p60, 16x 1080p30 streams. Streams encoded with 4:4:4, 4:2:2, 4:2:0, and 4:0:0 chroma subsampling can be decoded by the Maevex 6152 decoder.

Support up to two 6152 decoder appliances from a single U of rack space, housed in a ½ rack width. Place the appliance on the desktop, workstation, or rack, and it’s ready to use.
