AXIS D6210 can monitor indoor air quality (IAQ) by detecting vaping and smoking, as well as air pollutants such as particle matter (PM), volatile organic compounds (VOC), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and carbon dioxide (CO2). In addition it measures relative humidity (RH), humidex, temperature and heat index. It makes it easy to manage indoor air quality to ensure its adequacy. It’s possible to trigger an event whenever defined thresholds are breached, so you can act accordingly. With AXIS Data Insights you can identify trends and deviations, improve operational efficiency, and take informed action through intuitive dashboards and visualizations.

This RESET® accredited indoor air quality monitor offers great possibilities. It works with selected Axis cameras and strobe siren and can also integrate with other Axis devices, so you can follow up on detections with automated responses. For instance, it’s possible to use a camera to get a better understanding of what’s happening in the scene and a speaker to play a warning message to inform about the inadequate air quality. It also helps you uphold vaping and smoking prohibitions and document compliance with indoor air quality regulations. Plus, it produces air quality data allowing you to make long-term strategic decisions about your indoor environment.
Cost-efficient, easy installation
Using portcast technology, this air quality sensor enables simple connection with compatible Axis IP devices. You can quickly add it to existing systems without the need for additional IP addresses, switch ports, or power. AXIS D6210 is installed between the device and the power source and adds extra functionality to the connected device. For instance, air quality parameters can be shown as overlays on the video stream. It can be located up to 100 m (330 ft) from the Axis IP device or power source, and masking can be used to protect privacy. Furthermore, the sensor and connected device use the same IP address ensuring easy system management.
