PLANET GS-4210-8UP2X Gigabit 802.3bt PoE++ Managed Switch features intelligent PoE functions to improve the availability of critical business applications. It provides IPv6/IPv4 dual stack management and a built-in L2+ Gigabit switching engine. The GS-4210-8UP2X includes 8 10/100/1000BASE-T 802.3bt PoE++ ports and 2 10 Gigabit fiber ports, with a total power budget of 240 watts. It offers a quick, safe and cost-effective PoE++ network solution for small businesses and enterprises.

Cybersecurity Network Solution to Minimize Security Risks
The cybersecurity features protect switch management in mission-critical networks. SSHv2 and TLSv1.3 provide strong protection against advanced threats.

Redundant Ring, Fast Recovery for Critical Network Applications
The GS-4210-8UP2X supports ITU-T G.8032 ERPS and Spanning Tree Protocol to enhance reliability and uptime.

802.3bt PoE++ 95-Watt Power over 4-Pair UTP Solution
The GS-4210-8UP2X supports IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ and can deliver up to 95 watts per port over standard Cat5e/6 cabling for high-power devices such as PTZ cameras, network devices, thin clients, POS systems, kiosks, digital signage displays and PoE lighting.

802.3bt PoE++ and Advanced PoE Power Output Mode Management
The GS-4210-8UP2X supports 95W 802.3bt Type-4 PoE++ mode and 4-pair legacy mode for non-standard PoE devices. It also supports 36W end-span 802.3at PoE+ output mode.
Built-in Unique PoE Functions for Powered Devices Management
The GS-4210-8UP2X includes PD Alive Check, Scheduled Power Recycling, PoE Schedule, PoE Usage Monitoring and PoE Extension.
Intelligent Powered Device Alive Check
The switch can monitor connected powered devices in real time via ping. If a device stops responding, the switch can restart PoE power on that port to bring the device back online.

Scheduled Power Recycling
Connected PoE IP cameras or wireless access points can be rebooted at a scheduled time each week to reduce crashes caused by buffer overflow.

PoE Schedule for Energy Savings
PoE scheduling allows power feeding to be enabled or disabled during specified time intervals, helping reduce energy use and improve security during non-business hours.

PoE Usage Monitoring
The web management interface allows administrators to monitor power usage of connected powered devices in real time.
802.3at PoE+ Power and Ethernet Data Transmission Distance Extension
In Extend mode, the switch supports 10Mbps duplex operation with up to 50W PoE output over distances up to 250 meters.

Environment-Friendly Smart Fan Design for Silent Operation
The GS-4210-8UP2X features a rack-mount metal housing, low-noise design and smart fan technology to control fan speed automatically.
IPv6/IPv4 Dual Stack Management
The switch supports both IPv6 and IPv4 protocols for flexible network deployment.

Robust Layer 2 Features
The GS-4210-8UP2X supports dynamic link aggregation, 802.1Q VLAN, Q-in-Q VLAN, MSTP, loop and BPDU guard, IGMP snooping, MLD snooping and LLDP.

Efficient Traffic Control
QoS and traffic management features include storm control, per-port bandwidth control, IP DSCP QoS priority and remarking.
Powerful Security
The switch supports Layer 2 to Layer 4 ACL, 802.1x authentication and private VLAN to enhance network security.
Advanced IP Network Protection
DHCP Snooping, IP Source Guard and Dynamic ARP Inspection help prevent spoofing and invalid ARP traffic.
Efficient Management
The GS-4210-8UP2X supports command line, Web and SNMP management interfaces, plus Telnet and console access.

Flexibility and Long-Distance Extension Solution
The switch supports Gigabit RJ45 copper interfaces and 100BASE-FX, 1000BASE-SX/LX, 2.5G and 10G SFP fiber transceivers for long-distance uplinks.
Intelligent SFP Diagnosis Mechanism
SFP-DDM allows administrators to monitor real-time SFP parameters, including optical power, temperature, laser bias current and transceiver voltage.

PLANET CloudNMS – Cloud-Based Universal Network Management
PLANET CloudNMS and mobile app allow IT staff to remotely manage network devices and powered devices in real time, with centralized monitoring, fault detection and instant alerts.
