This midspan delivers a power output of 90 W. Using portcast technology, it enables both audio and I/O connectivity to your Axis PTZ cameras. Plus, an SFP port supports both network and fiber installations.
Smart restart
During a smart restart, AXIS TU8003 not only powers the camera but also monitors its status through regular signal checks. If the camera fails to respond within two minutes, the midspan automatically restarts it, ensuring continuous uptime and reliable image capture.
Add connectivity
With AXIS TU8003 you can easily add two-way audio and I/O connectivity to your cameras. With portcast technology, this midspan uses the camera’s IP address to provide seemingly camera-integrated audio and I/O connectivity. This enables audio and video in one stream over the network with no extra VMS license. Plus, it supports both digital and unbalanced microphones.
Add power possibilities
AXIS TU8003 delivers up 90 W and can be used to power selected PTZ cameras. Featuring a built-in SFP slot, it is perfect for long-distance installations. And, with remote on/off functionality with I/O, it's possible to save power if needed. Furthermore, this 90 W midspan is compatible with IEEE 802.3bt, IEEE 802.3af (15 W), IEEE 802.3at and Axis High PoE.
