The following distance and resolution combinations are possible when using high quality Cat.6A or above U/UTP or F/UTP cable:
40m: 3840x2160@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit / 4:2:2 12bit
70m: 3840x2160@30Hz 4:4:4 8bit / 4:2:2 12bit
Supporting uncompressed resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD, video can be viewed in stunning clarity, while additional support for HDR (High Dynamic Range) allows content to be displayed with enhanced brightness, greater contrasts of blacks and whites and a much wider colour gamut. 4K to 1080p downscaling function is also supported on HDMI output.
The user can connect a Type C or HDMI® (with USB) input port in order to control any source such as a PC or Laptop, the Type C port supports also 60W power delivery provided directly from the Transmitter just connecting the included power supply. Switching between the 2 inputs is possible pushing the button on the transmitter unit, auto switch feature is also supported.
PoC (Power over Cable) functionality with On/Off switch provides additional flexibility. This allows power to be supplied alongside data through Cat.6A network cable in a point to point connection between the transmitter and receiver, meaning only a single power supply is required at one side of the installation.
Featuring 3.5mm Analog Audio outputs with de-embedding function to connect speakers or amplifier on both units, EDID DIP switch with presets and copy function on the transmitter.
Bi-directional IR ports at both sides of the setup, the source equipment can be easily controlled from the display side, and the display can also be controlled from the HDMI source side. This extennder allows for complete control for the user providing APIs over RS-232 or USB Micro B ports.
HDBaset is a globally recognised standard for high quality distribution of AV content and other technologies, including power and control, over longer distances via low cost Cat.6 or above cable.

Please Note: the quoted lengths and resolutions are possible with a direct connection between Transmitter and Receiver using good quality Cat.6A or above cable. Using a different cable type, introducing couplers or patch panels may result in a reduction of possible distances.
