KVM41-U3-18G – 4:1 KVM Switcher with 4x perpheral USB ports and Hotkey options.
4:1 KVM Switcher arrives with a total of 6x peripheral USB ports, (2x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.0 + 2x HID USB ports for attachment of mouse and keyboard). Capable of handling all video resolutions up to 4K60 4:4:4 (18G), control via front panel, RS232, or keyboard/mouse hotkey. EDID and HDCP management facilities help to optimise system set-up. A great value solution for use anywhere multiple sources/computers are required to be controlled by one operator, for example in small huddles/meetings, financial institutions, control centres, educational spaces and labs.
KVM – Dedicated 4:1 KVM Switcher for control of up to 4x sources, with centralised control options, accepts all resolutions up to 4K60 4:4:4 (18G) and HDR12.
INPUT SELECT – Manual or Automatic modes. Input selection can be made using the front panel buttons, RS232, keyboard hotkey, mouse or other control device. Elect to switch to either next higher or lower numbered live input via RS232.
HOTKEY – A choice of hotkey modes is available. Choose from keyboard Hotkey and/or mouse Hotkey. A Chart is printed on top of the unit for easy reference. Keyboard hotkey commands can select inputs, change views and enable/disable mouse hotkeys.
SCALING – Downscaling from 4K to 2K. Output modes available include auto-scaling, manual and off.
HDCP – Full support for HDCP v1.4 and v2.2. Set for each individual input as well as the output. The output can follow the selected input, auto-convert v2.2 to v1.4, or be put into Cascade mode.
EDID – Choose your own Custom EDID (read and store to 3x memory locations), or you can choose from a selection of 15x standard EDID types to suit most applications; from 1080p to 4K, 24Hz to 60Hz, 2ch to 7.1ch, and 4:2:0 to 4:4:4.
AUDIO DE-EMBEDDER – Option to draw audio from the selected source and output via the analogue L+R 3.5mm TRS jack on the front panel.
TEST PATTERN GENERATOR – A Test Pattern Generator is built into the device. To enable an easy ‘Test and Prove’ procedure to be carried out during the test and commission phase of your installation. Various pattern types and colours are available and at various resolutions from 480p to 4K.
MULTIPLE USB PORTS – Dedicated keyboard and mouse USB ports on rear. 4x USB ports on the front (2x USB 2.0 & 2x USB 3.0) for connection to any type of USB device such as storage, camera etc. Each HDMI output also has a corresponding USB type B port for connecting computers. Supported operating systems include: Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 11, Mac OS, and Ubuntu.
