MFS51-18G is a powerful & flexible scaling 4K presentation switcher accepting Input resolutions up to 4K60 4:4:4 (HDMI 2.0 18G) and output at any resolutions up to 4K30 4:4:4.
Fast Switching Inputs - It offers fast switching between the 3 HDMI inputs,1 DisplayPort input,1 VGA input.
Auto / Manual Switching – This unit has three Auto Switching modes that can be set using either RS232 commands or from the Web GUI interface.
The three modes are as follows: Last Connected Mode, First Connect Mode, Priority Mode.
Mirrored Outputs – The HDMI and HDBaseT outputs both show the same source.
Scaling – A built in Scaler lets you scale up or down the video signals and will output to both the HDMI and HDBaseT outputs at 4K30 4:4:4. (The HDBaseT outputs will transmit 4K30 4:4:4 to 40m and 1080p to 70m – using a Slim70 Edge RX).
Output Aspect Ratio - Set the output to a choice of three screen ratios: 4:3, 16:9 or 16:10.
EDID Management – Select between pre-defined EDIDs or read from either output.
HDCP Mode control – Select between HDCP 1.4 or bypass mode.
Embed and De-embed Audio - This 18G HDMI 2.0 5x1 Presentation Switcher unit offers a stereo de-embedded audio output, and embedding of any external audio source onto any selected input.
Microphone Input - The dedicated Microphone Input channel also has switchable 48v phantom power, or it could be used as another Line level input by the setting the 3 position Switch.
Auto Ducking - Something else that is not often seen in other High End Presentation Switchers, but is present here on this unit, is a user selectable Auto Ducking function. In other words it contains a built-in Side Chain Compressor effect. What does this do? With auto Ducking enabled, when someone speaks into the Microphone, then it will lower (or Duck) the Level of the Programme Audio from your other inputs.
Audio System Control - The MFS51-18G has a versatile and fully controllable audio routing and MIC mixing system with ‘Fade In/Out’ options for the background audio inputs. A software Audio /
Microphone Mixer is built-in. Physical buttons for Audio and Mic volume are situated on the front panel.
Control options - Controllable from front panel buttons, RS232, IR, Web GUI or via an external push button control.
OSD Menu – A Built-In On Screen Display Menu aids easy set-up.
Test Pattern Generator - The built-in menu also provides access to a single colour test pattern mode for White, Red, Green, Blue and Black. The test pattern can be used to confirm that a video signal can be seen on the HDMI and HDBaseT outputs.
It is suitable for a wide number of applications including classrooms, lecture halls and conference rooms.
