EDID & HDCP Management
Reliable HDMI distribution depends on proper EDID and HDCP communication between connected devices. Comprehensive EDID management allows the installer to optimise source output formats using display pass-through, predefined EDID profiles, or custom uploaded EDID settings.

Advanced HDCP management further improves compatibility, with selectable HDCP modes including HDCP 1.4, HDCP 2.2, Follow In, Follow Out, and Cascade mode. These tools help eliminate compatibility issues between mixed-generation source and display equipment.

Per-Output Video Scaling & HDR Conversion
Each HDMI output features independent video processing, allowing connected displays with different capabilities to operate simultaneously within the same system.

Outputs can automatically scale incoming 8K signals down to 4K or 1080p, ensuring compatibility with legacy displays while maintaining optimal performance for newer devices.

Per-output HDR to SDR conversion is also available, allowing HDR content to be displayed correctly on non-HDR screens without affecting other outputs in the system.

Built-In Test Pattern Generator
An integrated Test Pattern Generator provides a convenient way to verify cable infrastructure, displays, and system operation without requiring an external signal generator.

Multiple resolutions and pattern types are available, including colour bars, checkerboard, stripes, solid colours, ramp patterns, and PRBS patterns at resolutions ranging from 480p up to 8K30 and 4K120, making commissioning and troubleshooting significantly easier during installation.

Video Keep Alive (VKA)
The built-in Video Keep Alive feature maintains a stable video output whenever the source signal is lost. When activated, the internal test pattern generator automatically takes over to prevent displays or projectors from losing sync.

This can be particularly beneficial in projector installations where signal loss could otherwise trigger lengthy resynchronisation or shutdown cycles.

Audio De-Embedding
Integrated audio de-embedding allows audio to be extracted from the selected HDMI input and routed to both digital optical and balanced analogue audio outputs simultaneously.

The splitter supports a wide range of audio formats including LPCM, Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, and Dolby Digital Plus.

Audio Gain Control

The Hot Plug Detect (HPD) function allows the HDMI connection to be remotely reinitialised, forcing the source and display to renegotiate communication without physically disconnecting cables.
