MSU44-18G – 4x4 Matrix & Scaler
Slimline HDMI Matrix Switcher with 4x inputs, 4x outputs at resolutions of up to 4K60 4:4:4 (18 Gbps). Each output can perform a variety of functions independently, including down Scaling from 4K to 1080p and audio de-embedding, which is possible from any of the 4x HDMI inputs. De-embeded audio is presented both as S/PDIF (RCA Coax), or analogue stereo L/R (3.5mm TRS jacks).
This Matrix has four methods of control: Front Panel, RS232, LAN or IR, front panel locking prevents accidental operation. The optional 19" 1U rack mount brackets are available for this compact half rack unit.
The MSU44-18G is suitable for a wide range of environments from corporate, retail, studios and control rooms to training centres and education spaces.
4x4 Matrix – Switch between 4x HDMI 2.0 inputs, to 4 x HDMI 2.0 outputs. Capable of 4K60 4:4:4 18G.
Down Scaling – Each output can be scaled independently. Down Scaling from 4K to 1080p.
EDID – Management of EDID ensures stable installation performance. The EDID for each HDMI input can be chosen from a wide choice of stored EDID or an EDID from one of the connected displays.
Test Pattern Generator – Various Test pattern colours available to aid set-up, commissioning and signal cue facility. Selection made via RS232 commands.
HDCP Control – Support and management of HDCP ensures compatibility. Convert from HDCP 2.2 down to HDCP 1.4 or simply put the unit into cascade mode.
Front panel display – LCD display shows the current matrix routing and aids with visual confirmation of other settings.
Audio Control – There is also audio mute function available too. Audio can be de-embedded from any input and presented as Digital S/PDIF (coax RCA) outputs, as well as analogue L/R Stereo audio oututputs (phoenix screw terminal connectors).
Control – All functions can be operated either from the Front Panel, IR, RS232 or LAN. A built in WEB GUI is accessible via LAN allowing full control of Video, Audio, EDID and network parameters. A remote Infra-Red handset is also included for easy matrixed Output selections.
